5 Tips To Up The Game With Your Social Media Visual

Gosh, if you are anything like me I love a good-looking feed on social media, but something we can get be put in to panic mood with what to post or how to keep it consistent "on brand". I really enjoy creating graphics but I'm not a graphic designer so I asked my good friend Kim from social digital designs to give us 5 points on how to get our visuals on point. I'm a big believer in creating your own images and quote tiles instead of sharing other peoples all the time.   1. Include colour in your graphics. Visuals with colour increase people’s willingness to read a piece of content by 80%. But also remember to always stick to your branding colours to keep your brand and feed consistent.

  2. Incorporating a strong visual presence on your social media posts helps you stand out from the thousands of other posts competing for attention in your followers' news feeds. People will then start associating your brand with your visuals and you will become recognisable.

  3. Incorporate text on top of your photos. By adding text over the top of your photo will help get your message across faster and get your audience to stop scrolling and stay on your pic!

  6. Lastly, always ensure your graphics/photos are of high quality. You want to create stunning visuals that will make your audience stop and think. Professionally finished graphics will make a difference to your socials and in turn your brand. If you are unsure about a certain visual, the chances are that your audience will also feel the same way. You want to make a good first impression and keep your audience/customers on your socials for longer.
